Dosing installations
Dosing of disinfectants such as H2O2 and chlorine
Alongside the dosing of ozone, dosing of H2O2 is often used as disinfection. Here hydrogen peroxide is added to the liquid by means of a dosing pump. This a relatively simple installation. The dosing can be set to function on regular intervals or depending on the performed measurements. H2O2 is often used in combination with other methods such as UV.
Another disinfectant that performs well is the chlorine dosing (HOCl or NaOCl). Both chemicals work based on their oxidative capabilities, but with chlorine extra attention has to be given to the choice of materials since chlorine can be very aggressive to metals.
PCA can help you with this technology, both in design and construction of the installation.
